The Special Rate for the Ritz Carlton is only available until the 1st November

We will be using the 5* Ritz Carlton as the conference hotel in Bangalore. Transport to and from the OpenText offices will only be provided from this hotel. You are welcome to stay in other hotels but you will be responsible for any transport to and from that hotel to either the Ritz Carlton, to catch the morning transport, or to the offices.

We have negotiated a special rate at this hotel of 17250 INR per night (approx 180 Euros) (plus Taxes) for a Deluxe Room. The following will be included in the room rate:

Notes: 

(1) The Special Rate for the Ritz Carlton is only available until the 15th November. After that date rooms will be subject to availability and likely a higher rate. So - book early!

(2) Check in time at the hotel is 3pm so if your flight arrives at say 3am in the morning you are advised to book the hotel for the previous night so that you do not have a very long wait for your room.

(3) The Conference Welcome Reception will be held at this hotel on the night of the 1st December.

 

We have arranged with a local travel company for delegates of our event to be met at the airport and taken to the hotel and then returned to the airport on their departure. To use this service please complete the form via the link below. Please note this is around 50% cheaper than arranging the transport via the hotel or at the airport.

Costs for airport transport (both ways) will be 6000 INR for a Sedan Car and 8500 INR for an SUV. People arriving at the same time can travel together and the type of car used will depend on the number of people involved.

On the booking form you will also be given the opportunity to order a local phone SIM for 450 INR which will include unlimited local calls and 2GB of data usage per day.

 

During the seven day event we will run a number of hands-on workshops in the Development Center. Details of these workshops can be found by following the link below. It is important that you register for these workshops if you plan to attend so that we can choose room sizes based on the numbers interested and arrange for your transport to and from the offices at the weekend. Please do not register for the workshops before you register for the main conference.

All delegates are highly encouraged to attend as many of the workshops as they can as they are unique opportunities to learn more about the topics concerned and are all included free of charge within your conference registration.

 

If you would like to bring your partner with you to Bangalore you are more than welcome to do so. Note that you will need to book a double occupancy room in the hotel. Closer to the event we will introduce all of the partners attending to others in the group so that they can start chatting about what you would like to do whilst in the city. We will have someone on-site during the week who will help all of you with planning and logistics and arrange drivers etc as and when required. So regardless of whether this is your first time in India or you are a seasoned traveler we will do all we can to look after you during the week.
